{"id":1327,"date":"2019-02-26T18:15:53","date_gmt":"2019-02-26T23:15:53","guid":{"rendered":"\/?p=1327"},"modified":"2019-03-01T12:39:28","modified_gmt":"2019-03-01T17:39:28","slug":"custom-stator-rebuilds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ricksmotorsportelectrics.com\/blog\/custom-stator-rebuilds\/","title":{"rendered":"Custom Stator Rebuilds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We do lots of custom work here at <a href=\"https:\/\/ricksmotorsportelectrics.com\/searchymm.php\">Rick&#8217;s Motorsport Electrics<\/a>.\u00a0 We love keeping those vintage machines on the road and sometimes the only way to replace the part is to rebuild it!\u00a0 Other times, we&#8217;re trying to improve the design or enhance the performance of the part.\u00a0\u00a0When the original manufacturer decides to stop production of electrical parts, it takes that machine off the road or trail.\u00a0 With a custom rebuild, there are no minimum production runs so we can make a one off part.\u00a0 We also have an opportunity to possibly upgrade a part.\u00a0 By examining the original piece &amp; running it through numerous tests, we can determine if we&#8217;re able to give it an extra boost.<\/p>\n<p>There is a lot of time and research that goes into a custom rebuild, so you want to make sure you seek out an experienced technician.\u00a0 Whether it&#8217;s gathering specs or reverse engineering the part, you need to be certain the tech knows what they&#8217;re doing.\u00a0 Rick started rebuilding <a href=\"https:\/\/ricksmotorsportelectrics.com\/Rebuilt-Honda-Rotor-40_101\">old Honda rotors<\/a> back in the early 1980s so we have LOTS of knowledge &amp;
