Hot Shot Series Rectifier-Regulator Lithium Compatible: Rick's Motorsport Electrics offers this Hot Shot Series Aftermarket 35amp Rectifier Regulator that is Lithium Ion Battery Compatbile for 1998-00 650 V-Star, 1999-02 1100 V-Star, 1999-03 100 Road Star, and 2004 XV17A Road Star with OE#'s 5BN-81960-00-00.   Rick's aftermarket part looks different from OE with a 3" harness on it., but still has the OE plug end.
