New Honda Charging Kit: This Hot Shot charging kit includes both a new HO rotor and a lithium friendly combination rectifier-regulator for 1968-74 CB450K and 1970-74 CL450. This kit is designed for restorations and customers that want a rec/reg that looks like OE & mounts the same location. The kit will put out approximately 150 watts: 50% over OE. You do NOT need to replace your OE stator unless it tests bad, this kit works with the OE stator & rotor will accept the stock starter clutch. *Lead acid battery users: please see our part# 99-103 or 99-111 designed specifically for use with traditional lead acid batteries. ***This kit is not for use with standard lead acid batteries. The voltage set point is 14V +/- .2.
