Rick's Motorsport Electrics part #14-401 is an Aftermarket Lithium Ion Battery Compatible Rectifier Regulator for Yamaha 1976-79 RD400 with OE# 1A0-81910-20-00, 1L9-81970-60-00, and 1A0-81970-60-00. *Check & repair any damaged stator connections before installing this new rectifier-regulator. This is a combination rectifier & regulator that will replace both separate OE units on the bike; installation instructions will be included. **This rec-reg is not for use with standard lead acid batteries. The voltage set point is 14V +/- .2.
